About Ms. Rose Pawlak ~ Director of the Montessori Preschool of Redwood Meadows-Bragg Creek

Ms. Pawlak has been actively involved in Montessori education for more than 30 years. Her first involvement came as an assistant for two years in a Montessori preschool and elementary program. After completing her degree in music education, she decided to pursue Montessori teaching as a career. She then moved to Bergamo, Italy where she completed a certification program for teaching children ages six through twelve from the International Centre for Montessori Studies, which in 1985 was one of only three places in the world where one could receive the prestigious A.M.I. (Association Montessori Internationale) training and certification for the teaching of the elementary aged child.

Later, Ms. Pawlak received preschool certification from the Montessori Institute of America. She has since taught in Montessori preschool and elementary programs in both Canada and the United States.
